Once you have downloaded the various applications or 360-degree films to your computer, please follow these steps:
- Download the SideQuest software on your computer (a free software) which will allow you to access the headset folders and transfer the different experiences.
- If your headset has not yet been configured in Developer Mode, SideQuest will not recognize your headset. First, follow this tutorial to enable Developer Mode on your headset.
- Launch SideQuest, power on your headset, and connect it to your computer using a USB-C to USB-C or USB-C to USB cable.
- While leaving your headset connected to your computer, you must Allow Data Access (from both your headset and computer) so that your computer can access the headset’s folders.
- A status indicator on the SideQuest header bar will confirm that your headset is properly connected to your computer.
- You can then drag and drop the two files (.apk and .obb) into the Task Manager tab of the SideQuest software. Videos (.mp4) should be placed in the Download folder of the headset.
- Once the transfer is complete, a message will appear on SideQuest confirming that both files have been successfully installed on your headset.
- You can now disconnect your headset from your computer and restart it.
- Launch the Unframed Collection application from the Unknown Sources list on the headset, ensuring it is connected to the internet for initialization.
- The videos must be installed (once) via the launcher (Virtual Gallery) before being viewed – please keep the headset powered on during these installations.
